Is it normal to feel nervous before my session?
This is 100% normal and I am here for you. I will guide you during our session and answer any questions along the way!
What should I wear?
I tend to shoot outdoors which pairs well with casual outfits and natural, earthy color tones. Add your own charm with jewelry, accessories, nails, pops of color, or anything else you feel confident and comfortable in!
What is your style?
With a focus on story-telling, I value natural-light and blending simple authenticity with epic scenery to make you feel totally yourself in nature.
How many photos will we receive?
Every package offers a distinct range of images with the smallest package (MINI) offering 15+ images and the largest package (ODYSSEY) offering 125+ images.
Customized wedding + elopement packages offer at least 300+ images!
Do you shoot weddings?
Yes indeed! I offer limited slots for wedding coverage and am almost full for 2026. Submit a contact form for further details such as pricing, dates, etc..
What is your turn-around-time?
Each gallery will be delivered no later than 8 weeks after shoot day. Some galleries will be quicker depending the season and session type!
Do you charge travel fees?
Yes, every travel fee is unique. The exact amount solely depends on the time, gas, and/or flight costs used to travel to and from a session.
When should I book?
The sooner you book, the more time we have to properly plan together. Find announcements, giveaways, and sample photos on my instagram account @bri.took.that
Will you guide us on poses?
Leave posing, direction, and curated prompts all up to me. Remember these photos are capturing a moment in YOUR life and will come effortlessly once we begin our session. We will focus on your personality, the love you hold, or the little ones running around, and not the camera.
What if the weather is poor?
Photos can be done in all weather; cloudy, sunny, rainy, windy, and snowy! If a specific weather type is preferred we can keep an eye on the forecast and/or reschedule for the next available date if necessary.
Can others tag along?
Yes, if having someone else with you makes you feel more comfortable, by all means, invite them! (No more than 2 people)
Are props or pets allowed?
Both! Personal items and props artfully individualize your session. Pets are welcome! Please use reasonable judgement when considering pets. If you have a wild one, will it be difficult to successfully capture photos?
How should I prepare for my session?
Mark your calendar, coordinate themed outfits, fill up your gas tank, plan for hair & make-up, prepare props ahead of time, and confirm the shoot details! Most importantly, don't forget to be well-rested, hydrated, and fed. Expect your session with Bri Took That to be effortless, exciting, and full of teamwork.
What can you fix in editing?
I can fix any noticeable temporary blemishes on the body, clothing, or in the background such as acne, stains, bra straps, distracting signs, bugs, or fallen eyelashes. Keep this in mind, as I will NOT remove, manipulate, or photoshop any location, clothing logos, faces, fingernail polish, or people.
